軋輥的品種和制造工藝隨冶金技術(shù)的進(jìn)步和軋鋼設(shè)備的演變而不斷發(fā)展。中世紀(jì)軋制軟的有色金屬時使用強(qiáng)度低的灰鑄鐵軋輥。18世紀(jì)中葉英國掌握了軋制鋼板用的冷硬鑄鐵軋輥的生產(chǎn)技術(shù)。

The variety and manufacturing process of roll have been developed with the progress of metallurgical technology and the evolution of steel rolling equipment. The use of low strength gray iron rolls in the Middle Ages when rolling soft nonferrous metals. In the middle of the eighteenth Century, Britain mastered the production technology of cold cast iron rolls used for rolling steel plates.

整體軋輥是相對于復(fù)合軋輥而言的，整體軋輥的輥身外層與心部以及輥頸采用單一材質(zhì)鑄造或鍛造而成，輥身外層和輥頸不同的組織、性能通過鑄造或鍛造工藝以及熱處理工藝過程來控制和調(diào)整。

The whole roll is compared to the  roll. The outer layer of the whole roll is made of a single material or forging with a single material. The structure and performance of the roll are  and adjusted by the casting or forging process and the heat treatment process.

在粗軋機(jī)架后，中型型材軋機(jī)有兩組連續(xù)的機(jī)架。連續(xù)軋機(jī)，根據(jù)孔型設(shè)計既可以水平布置，也可以立式布置。對于有平行緣的型鋼和槽鋼，還配有機(jī)架。

After the roughing mill, there are two sets of continuous rack in the medium section mill. The continuous rolling mill can be arranged horizontally or vertically according to the pass design. For steel and channel steel with parallel edges, universal frame is also available.

被軋制的鋼種是選擇軋輥的關(guān)鍵因素，其抗變形能力隨坯料化學(xué)成分不同而改變，主要表現(xiàn)在軋制的各階段變形的負(fù)荷大小和變化。必須根據(jù)確定的強(qiáng)度和硬度選擇軋輥。  

Rolled steel

The rolled steel is the key factor to select the roll. Its deformation resistance varies with the chemical  of the billet. It is mainly manifested in the load and change of deformation in each rolling stage. The roll must be selected according to the determined strength and hardness.
